Enabling the Physically Challenged People
     
 
I am Setu India. A dream born out of someone's...
 
 
...desire to make a difference.
 
 
...feeling of helplessness and inclination to bring about change.
 
 
...intent to bridge the gap between want and resources.
 
 
...desire to be able to give something back to the society.
 
 
...tribute to their elders who embedded this spirit in them early on in their lives.
 
     
 
I am young and learning to move ahead in my baby steps. I plan to move ahead with each stride getting stronger.I am a dream and, hence, can't survive on my own. I need to be nurtured and fed with imagination and creativity and I seek your association. I look forward to people like you who share this dream, to come forward and help me expand by volunteering/sharing your

Usable miscellaneous articles and donations in cash or kind.

Setu e-Shiksha - Digital empowerment of visually handicapped persons by training them to work on Computers and earn their livelihood.

Digital audio-taping of education material/books for visually handicapped persons.

Setu Vastra Srijan - Stitching of zero-sized clothes by Polio victims.

Differently abled girl child - We identify a deserving economically weak, differently abled girl child and finance her education.

Placements for differently abled people - We approach various organisations for jobs differently abled people can do.

SETU Collection Boxes - We entrust our Volunteers with collection boxes for miscelleneous items which you could easily spare.

SETU means 'bridge' in Hindi. We, at SETU, aim to bridge the gap between the abilities of poor and differently abled people and a right kind of work environment for them.
